Cooling per SKU
- In PS3 2000 series heatsinks (20xx, 21xx, 25xx) there is no reference of the manufacturer neither the model, there is only 2 "serial numbers", one is for the "metal cooling block" and the other for the "plastic heatsink cover", both seems to be too random to be used to identify the different versions, the serial number of the plastic cover sometimes is missing, and the only reference is the plastic material used to "mold" it, the 2 plastics used are shorted to "BAYER" and "SABIC", but the exact reference of this plastics can be seen inside the power supply case (that seems to be the same materials) as follows:
- BAYER BAYBLEND KU2-1514>PC+ABS-FR(40)<
- SABIC CYCOLOY CH6410>PC+SAN-FR(40)<
