Sony CXD2953AGB (PS2 EE/GS)

Sony CXD2953AGB (PS2 EE/GS)

CXD2953AGB

8-753-227-14 / IC7004

Used on CECHAxx/COK-001 and CECHBxx/COK-001

This IC is the PS2 EE + GS (Emotion Engine (CPU) + Graphics Synthesizer (GPU)), which accompanies the CXD9208GP bridge and the RDRAM memories located outside the package's encapsulation.

The PS3 models with this IC have better compatibility with PS2 games compared to models with only the GS module (without RDRAM).
