The PS4 contains at least one Serial Flash chip, and depending on the motherboard model can also have one for a SATA Bridge, one for a USB 3.0 Hub, one for a Communication Processor or even more on prototype motherboards.

SATA Bridge Serial Flash
A serial flash chip contains the firmware and configuration for the SATA bridge device to which it is connected.
SATA Bridges models on PS4:
- MB86C311B: uses MX25L1006E or [25X10CLYA1]] serial flash chips
USB 3.0 Hub Serial Flash
A serial flash chip contains the firmware and configuration for the USB 3.0 hub device to which it is connected.
USB 3.0 Hubs models on PS4:
- GL3520: uses MX25L1006E or [25X10CLYA1]] serial flash chips
- CYUSB3312-88LTXC: no known serial flash
- CYUSB3314-88LTXC: no known serial flash
Remarks
Serial flash chips used in PS4 have several OTP/blocking options according to datasheets, but they seem not used, as seen when handling flash or replacing flash itself.
