Launch model released to Japan, United States, and Canada that came with 60GB storage.

It was more expensive than CECHBxx due to having extra features, such as a larger hard drive, WiFi module, and there was a door that could be opened above the USB ports to reveal card readers. It also featured a chrome trim instead of black on the shell.

In 2020, several units serviced at official Sony centers were discovered, which have had the original SYSCON replaced and the 90nm RSX swapped out for a 40nm RSX.
