The Neighborhood for PlayStation 4 provides an additional graphical user interface through Windows Explorer which allows developers to interact with their Nonretail consoles for several tasks like executing Applications on the PlayStation 4 and managing their Targets via the network during the development process. It is a part of the SCEI PS4 SDK but it links different tasks with other Software components, such as:
- Target Manager Server
- Target Manager API
- File System Driver
- Console Output for PlayStation 4
- Settings for PlayStation 4
- Target Operations for PlayStation 4 Application
- Neighborhood DLL handler for PlayStation 4
