The SKU Label is a 4-character-long label assigned by the developers.
SKU Label format is XYYY.
The first character is fixed per SCE region.
Region[edit | edit source]
Region | X |
---|---|
SCEA | U |
SCEE | E |
SCEJ | J |
SCE Asia | H (K for Korea) |
A PS4 example is E001 (for Killzone: Shadow Fall).
Game Updates[edit | edit source]
A lot of PS4 games contains another SKU Label (for the direct download PKG file) which fits exactly with the game version itself.
Examples[edit | edit source]
- Update 1.04 for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag = UP0001-CUSA00010_00-AC4GAMEPS4000001-A0104-V0100
- Update 1.08 for Battlefield 4 = UP0006-CUSA00110_00-BATTLEFIELD40000-A0108-V0100
- Update 1.09 for Battlefield 4 = UP0006-CUSA00110_00-BATTLEFIELD40000-A0109-V0100
- Update 1.02 for Blacklight: Retribution = UP2102-CUSA00042_00-BLACKLIGHT2ORBIS-A0102-V0100
- Update 1.13 for Call of Duty: Ghosts = UP0002-CUSA00018_00-CALLDUTYGHOSTSDL-A0113-V0100
Maybe these are also SKU labels or those are only another labels used for Game updates (and what about those last tag with the V0100 - the version from the update itself - mostly 1.00)?
