Media letter codes for other sony consoles

PSvita

There are 2 naming standards used in PSvita, one of them fits pretty fine with the "old" naming convention used in previous sony consoles (where the "V" is a "PSvita card"), examples:

The other doesnt respect the old naming standard (and the first "P" letter is the same used in PS4 naming formats):

The numbers in position 1 and 2 in the naming format: ABCD12345 seems to have some indirect relationship with regions (looks redundant because the region is the third letter C but released games proves this is correct in some way, at least partially)

    • Examples: BCES00001: Resistance, BLES01000: Racket Sports, BLES02007: Short Peace Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day
  • from 20 up to ?? (or up to 24 ?) = HONG KONG ?
    • Examples: BLKS20001 Armored Core 4
  • from 30 up to 31 (or up to 34 ?) = USA, Licensed ?
    • Examples: BLUS30001: RIdge Racer 7, BLUS31000: Heavy Fire Shattered Spear
  • from 41... (or from 40 up to 44 ?) = USA, Licensed ?

  • from 98 up to 99 (or from 95 up to 99 ?) = USA, First party ?
    • Examples: BCUS98103: Uncharted Drake's Fortune, BCUS99247: Gran Turismo 6
  • Notes
    • Probably a few more thousands of number ranges are reserved for each region
  • It works in the same way with digital contents license numbers (PKG's starting with TITLE_ID's like: NP*******)
