I like to make edits to this wiki usually about differences in models. Long time PlayStation fan, Software Engineer by career (though have no involvement in homebrew development currently).
Proud owner of two 40nm Frankenstein CECHA00; one official, the other unofficial.
My PS3 consoles:
Model | PS2 Backwards Compatibility | Firmware | Runtime | Notes |
---|---|---|---|---|
CECHA00 | Hardware (EE+GS+Ram) | Evilnat 4.91 PEX CFW OC @ 600/750 | 16 days | Official 40nm Frankenstein RSX. Service dated 2013-04. Possibly one of the lowest runtime CECHA official Frankies out there? |
CECHA00 | 148 days | Official 40nm Frankenstein RSX. Service dated 2011/2 | ||
CECHA00 | 172 days | Unofficial 40nm Frankenstein RSX, delidded, NEK/TOKINs replaced | ||
CECHA01 | Evilnat 4.91 PEX CFW | 22 days | Previous owner used it exclusively as an SACD ripper | |
CECHB00 | 3 hours | Bought with one hour use. Replaced BD-400 with BD-410 as PS2 laser was DOA, delidded | ||
CECHC03 | Software (GS only) | 60 days | First PS2 backwards compatible PS3 I owned | |
CECHC04 | 40 days | Replaced BD-400 with BD-410 as it was defective | ||
CECH-2503A | No | Evilnat 4.91 PEX CFW OC @ 600/750 | 80 days | Datecode is 0D, so can use CFW |
CECH-4303A | HFW 4.91 + PS3HEN | 7 days |
I do actually have more (working) backwards compatible models than those listed above, mainly CECHA and CECHB though I am constantly selling them too so I won't list those.
