This page is intended to document official Sony repairs to PS3 consoles.

Actions performed:

  • Felt added to Blu-ray drive entry on top-most part of shell
  • BD-400 replaced with BD-410
  • Grey felt strip added under Blu-ray drive, replacing smaller grey fabric
  • CELL BE brace added
  • Thermal paste replaced for RSX and Cell
  • RSX replaced with a newer one
    • If the RSX is 65nm or 40nm, a sticker is added under the USB ports (40 for 40nm, 65 for 65nm) to indicate
