Media letter codes for other sony consoles
PSvita
There are 2 naming standards used in PSvita, one of them fits pretty fine with the "old" naming convention used in previous sony consoles (where the "V" is a "PSvita card"), examples:
- VCAS34001: Uncharted golden abyss http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tI1sKeMVlSU/T2ScVVCxmAI/AAAAAAAAV5Q/9UEx3Vxok_4/s1600/20120317_221105.jpg
The other doesnt respect the old naming standard (and looks closer to PS4 naming formats):
- PCSF00001: Uncharted golden abyss http://fronttowardsgamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/IMG_09952.jpg
- PCSF00002: ModNation Racers Roadtrip http://eftm.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Sony-PS-Vita-game.jpg
- PCSF00007: Wipeout 2048 http://img1.lesnumeriques.com/test/65/6596/UMD_3DS_SD_VITA%281%29.jpg

The numbers in position 1 and 2 in the naming format: ABCD12345 seems to have some indirect relationship with regions (looks redundant because the region is the third letter C but released games proves this is correct in some way, at least partially)
- from 00 up to 01 (or up to 04 ?) = EURO ?
- Examples: BCES00001: Resistance, BLES01000: Racket Sports, BLES01975: The Walking Dead
- from 20 up to ?? (or up to 24 ?) = HONG KONG ?
- Examples: BLKS20001 Armored Core 4
- from 30 up to 31 (or up to 34 ?) = USA, Licensed ?
- Examples: BLUS30001: RIdge Racer 7, BLUS31000: Heavy Fire Shattered Spear
- from 50 up to ?? (or up to 54 ?) = ASIA ?
- Examples: BLAS50001: Mobile Suit Gundam Target in sight
- from 60 up to 61 (or up to 64 ?) = JAPAN ?
- Examples: BLJM60006: Sonic the hedgehog
- from 94 up to ?? (or from 90 up to 94 ?) = USA, First party ?
- Examples: BCUS94344: SingStar Latino
- from 98 up to 99 (or from 95 up to 99 ?) = USA, First party ?
- Examples: BCUS98103: Uncharted Drake's Fortune, BCUS99247: Gran Turismo 6
- Notes
- Probably a few more thousands of numer ranges are reserved for each region... at this date (2014-01-14) none of the regions have passed the 2000 license numbers (and this is why doesnt exists yet disc releases with TITLE_IDs like: BLES02001, BLUS32001, BLJS62001 etc...) but for sure there are some more thousands license numbers reserved for them
- It works in the same way with digital contents license numbers (PKG's starting with TITLE_ID's like: NP*******)
