The first 2 numbers in the TITLE_ID
/!\WARNING/!\ open brainstorming area /!\WARNING/!\
The numbers in position 1 and 2 in the naming format: ABCD12345 seems to have some relationship with regions (looks redundant because the region is the third letter C but released games proves this is corect in some way, at least partially)
- EURO = from 00 up to 01 (probably up to 09)
- Examples: BCES00001: Resistance, BLES01000: Racket Sports, BLES01975: The Walking Dead
- HONG KONG = from 20 up to ? (probably up to 29)
- Examples: BLKS20001 Armored Core 4
- USA, Licensed = from 30 up to 31 (probably up to 39)
- Examples: BLUS30001: RIdge Racer 7, BLUS31000: Heavy Fire Shattered Spear
- ASIA = from 50 up to ? (probably up to 59)
- Examples: BLAS50001: Mobile Suit Gundam Target in sight
- JAPAN = from 60 up to 61 (probably up to 69)
- Examples: BLJM60006: Sonic the hedgehog
- USA, First party = from 94 up to ?
- Examples: BCUS94344: SingStar Latino
- USA, First party = from 98 up to 99
- Examples: BCUS98103: Uncharted Drake's Fortune, BCUS99247: Gran Turismo 6
- Notes
- Probably a few more thousands of numer ranges are reserved for each region... at this date (2014-01-14) none of the regions have passed the 2000 license numbers (and this is why doesnt exists yet disc releases with TITLE_IDs like: BLES02001, BLUS32001, BLJS62001 etc...) but for sure there are some more thousands license numbers reserved for them
- There are 2 "unkown" groups under 60 (from 10 up to 19... and from 40 up to 49)... weird, but looks like "unknown regions"
- It works in the same way with digital contents license numbers (PKG's starting with TITLE_ID's like: NP*******)
