An LED Diagnostics Mode sequence was added with this revision to give a secondary error (SYSCON) code if a YLOD occurs. It can be accessed by doing a [[Boot modes#Fan test|fan test]] (connecting mains while holding the eject button and the fan runs at full power for about 30 seconds, then powers off), then pressing the power buttons three times, eject button three times, then power button twice. If done correctly, the power LED should now blink yellow once (to indicate the mode has been activated) then blink a further four times in four intervals. Each interval represents a possible binary value. For example:
