Backup And Restore

The Backup And Restore utility allows a PS3 owner to back-up and restore his hard disc drive data associated with users on his PS3, including ?settings?, saved data, games, patches and download data, to and from an external USB drive.

This feature was added since PS3 System Software version 1.32. See https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/798/~/ps3-backup-utility.

The BAR utility works with some archive.dat files.
