"qHD"
It refers to the resolution as "qHD", but there is no such thig as "HD" in resolutions. "HD" is a general term for a set of resolutions. There is HD 720 and HD 1080, but even qHD 1080 would be 4 pixels off. For a general idea of the size, qHD1080 would be acceptable, but "qHD" is just too ambiguous.

n=9th, q=1/4thth, Q=4xHD720p, QF=4xHD1080p, U=8xHD1080p
HD in this example of qHD always refers to FullHD 1080p 16:9 (although when looking at the resolution accronyms, qFHD or qfHD would make more sence - but I am not making up standards, display manufacturers are).

qHD (960×540) qHD is a display resolution of 960×540 pixels, which is exactly one quarter of a Full HD (1080p) frame, in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Similar to DVGA, this resolution became popular for high-end smartphone displays in early 2011. Mobile phones including the HTC Sensation, HTC Evo 3D, Motorola Droid RAZR and Motorola Atrix 4G have displays with the qHD resolution, as does the PlayStation Vita portable game system.
