BakonICE
BakonICE is a game plugin that acts as a cheating device for the SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2 game for PSP. Developed by NoEffex, the latest version of BakonICE is v2.0 released on February 11, 2009.

BakonICE's first notable release came with v1.1 released in November 2008. Various updates has been made, and released bringing BakonICE up to v2.0.
Features[edit | edit source]
BakonICE includes many features that make up the plugin. These include:
- Rape with L
- See through walls on button press
- Knife people online
- Anti-Lobby boot
- Anti-Server freeze
- Edit your players speed
- Choose between a variety of sticking explosives options
- Make everyone who's in a game's name the same as yours
- Toggle Perfect Target Lock
- Mod your command equity
- Toggle Walk through walls
- View the stack pointer area and mod accordingly
- When you're in game, it will show your coordinates and score in the UI
- Mod your scores more specifically
- Mod your coordinates more exactly
- Toggle jump on square press(AKA Hotkeys)
- Toggle move while dead
- No-Fog
- Custom Menu(s)
- Userspace Allocation
Protection[edit | edit source]
To protect online players against the users of BakonICE, a new anti-cheat system was added in version 1.5. Developed by SlantSix, the system is designed to completely disable BakonICE if it is used while the player is online. The plugin will not be re-enabled until the game is reloaded.
To further this, SlantSix added a more sophisticated anti-cheat in patch version 1.60. NoEffex quickly bypassed most of the security by using random binary as thread names, as essentially that is the only method SlantSix can use to discover BakonICE, in raw form. However, if you use certain cheats, you will end up banned.

- 11-11-08 - Ported almost all to 1.6 patch
- 11-07-08 - Added Custom Menu(s). Quite a Neat Feature.
- 11-03-08 - Updated Source(Removed Logger, among other things). The logger has become a liability in which I'm not willing to undermine.
