The PlayStation 5, abbreviated "PS5" belongs to the 9th generation of video game consoles and is the 5th home console from Sony.
Unlike other generations of PlayStation consoles, the PS5 is released with two different models, a normal version that comes with a disc drive and a digital version that comes without a disc drive. The PS5 is also Sony's largest PlayStation console in size.
