Official strapline: Heighten Your Senses™

The DualSense wireless controller for PS5 offers haptic feedback, dynamic adaptive triggers and a built-in microphone, all integrated into a new design.

Features[edit | edit source]

Haptic Feedback Physically responsive feedback to in-game actions with dual actuators which replace traditional rumble motors. These dynamic vibrations can simulate the feeling of everything from environments to the recoil of different weapons.

Adaptive Triggers Varying levels of force and tension as users interact with in-game gear and environments. Examples include pulling back an increasingly tight bowstring to hitting the brakes on a speeding car.

Built-in Microphone and Headset Jack Users can chat with friends online using the built-in microphone — or by connecting a headset to the 3.5-mm jack. Users can switch off voice capture at a moment's notice with the dedicated mute button.

Create Button Users can capture and broadcast gaming moments with the Create button. Building on the success of the Share button on DualShock 4 for PS4, the Create button offers players more ways to produce gaming content and broadcast live to the world.

New Design The new controller has an evolved, two-tone design that combines an iconic, intuitive layout with enhanced sticks and a reimagined light bar.

Built-in Battery The 1.560 mAh internal battery can be charged via USB Type-C.

Integrated Speaker Select games can produce higher-fidelity sound effects via the built-in speaker on the controller.

Motion Sensor Motion control to supported games with the built-in accelerometer and gyroscope.

Technical Specifications[edit | edit source]

Wireless Interface Bluetooth
Wireless Frequency Range 2.402-2.48 GHz
Power Output 2.5 mW
Wired Interface USB Type-C
Battery Capacity 1,560 mAh

HD Camera[edit | edit source]

50544885797 7ffa039196 o.jpg

Official product page: https://www.playstation.com/accessories/hd-camera/

The HD Camera features dual lenses for 1080p capture and a built-in stand, and works seamlessly with the PS5 console's background removal tools to put the user in the spotlight.

Note: HD Camera is not compatible with PlayStation VR. To use PlayStation VR with PlayStation 5, users must connect the PS4's PlayStation Camera accessory.

Features[edit | edit source]

1080p Capture Users can capture themselves in full-HD video with the camera's dual wide-angle lenses and create a recording or a broadcast of themselves and their gameplay by using the DualSense wireless controller's Create button.

Built-in Stand HD Camera also features a built-in adjustable stand. The compact design allows it to be securely positioned above or below TVs — where users can fine-tune the angle to suit their set-up.

Background Removal Tools With HD Camera, users can add themselves to their gameplay videos while broadcasting in picture-in-picture mode, with the ability to crop the background or lose it completely with a green screen.
