The PlayStation 5, abbreviated "PS5" belongs to the 9th generation of video game consoles and is the 5th home console from Sony.<br>


Unlike other generations of PlayStation consoles, the PS5 is released with two different models, a normal version that comes with a disc drive and a digital version that comes without a disc drive. The PS5 is also Sony's largest PlayStation console in size.<br>

The PS5 was released on the 12th of November 2020 in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea.<br>
The PS5 was released on 19th of November 2020 for the rest of the world.
