  • Suspend/Resume: Players can jump in and out of games with the PS button, and games are suspended in Rest Mode instead of closing completely.
  • Backup and Restore to USB: The hard drive can now be backed up or restored to a USB drive.
  • System Software updates now install automatically while the system is in Rest Mode.
  • PlayStation Network Sub-Accounts can be upgraded to master accounts.
