There may be a way to downgrade the firmware but more research needs to be done. See the research done by f0f on syscon. This downgrade might be infeasible due to per console keys and unknown crypto keys used to decrypt PUP and re-encrypt respective flash components. Basically we need full code execution inside SAMU, but at that point it doesn't matter.
