Hi, I'm ps3hen.
I first became interested in the inner workings of the PS3 back in January this year(2012), when someone showed that one could add install packages files to 4.00 SEX OFW. I started to look into trying to get it to work on CEX OFW, which eventually led to the 4.00 Hybrid Firmware fad. Then my XMB research led me to become a developer for the XMB Manager Plus (XMBM+), I have since bricked my CFW PS3 with a bad downgrade from testing my 4.00HFW builds. But I continued writing .XML code and discovering more ways to use XMB Configuration files through examining VSH modules. The XMB is surprisingly under documented on this wiki, and transferring all that has been discovered/learned thought the XMBM+ project will take time. Recently (past months) I have been quite occupied and Andreus has had to bear the weight of the XMBM+ project, but I've been keeping input into the project when needed. I do intend to dedicate a large chunk of time renovating the XMB related documentation on this wiki.
For those interested, I wouldn't recommend reading the development page it's over 10 pages long. You would be better off downloading the GIT source for the project which includes a user friendly SDK of sorts which streamlines creating XMB modifications.
