Linux/BSD distributions

Linux/BSD distributions must conform to some aspects before they are useable on the PS3:

• PPC64 (PowerPC 64bit), recommended or PPC32 (PowerPC 32bit)
• Kernel patches etc, for PS3 support (e.g.: Linux / BSD)
• Boot support for GPT (GUID Partition Table)

The below worked in old OtherOS (FW 1.60 =< 3.15) , should work on OtherOS++ with some effort as well.
