Please report those edits, contra edit, put sidenotes to it etc. Dispute the matter, discuss it on a talkpage, or make use of your own userpage, if you want to temporarily discuss and conclude in a final fixed edit (like how was done on the eEID / CEX2DEX matter on this page).

Instead of having an edit war could we discuss it on irc? I can prove that what you write here are (un?)intentional lies.

1) What do you mean retail functionality? You can restore dvd playback and ps store to name a few by some sprx copying and xml editing. Just unpack a dex fw for 3.55 and a cex fw for 3.55 and note the differences in sprx. Then just add the correct xml keys. For example for ps store add the #seg_commerce_new key to category_psn.xml.

Well First off I said 3.55 for dvd /bd. 
Secondly I was on psn. Give me the 4.20 pup and will gladly make a video of it. 
Thirdly i posted a video of me running my BLES-01275 (sic: BattleField 3 / 3.55 signed ; Duplex) backup/warez using retail update. 
I do not wish to create drama, if you want pm me on hax forums.

''Answer from [[user:Mathieulh|Mathieulh]] : You can get on the psn on a REAL Debug unit, not on a converted one, real DEX have their idps listed in sony's database and as such do pass the authentication, converted units do not. Everytime you log on the psn, your idps is sent to sony's server and is checked against a database, if it does not match an entry the authentication process does not pass.

About battlefield 3 that's because you are using a resigned 3.55 self on 3.55 (resigned with geohot's tool), first of all, these do not run on 3.56+, secondly you cannot decrypt newer ones since you lack keys, finally you cannot install retail packages (and thus game updates) on a debug system, there is a check in nas_plugin that prevents you from doing this unless your console is QA flagged, and QA flag on 3.60+ requires an additional signature for the token, one you cannot craft nor fake)

I am not here to create drama either, I just don't like it when false assumptions are being spread upon what is meant to be a serious wiki for developers to look upon.

There is a page i wrote trying to map the iso.bin.edat structure, the structure is almost complete [[http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Iso.bin.edat]] but the page is not only for the structure, i think is better to move your edits to this page... also reorder the page in the way you like, and try to make links between the 2 pages (emulation and iso.bin.edat)

Btw... "PS2 classics" probably uses a similar method, but is not documented properly... by now ISO.BIN.EDATs and MINIS.EDAT are formats dependant of "psp", but this can change later if "ps2" is included
