==Factory Thermal grease types==
Application method used at factory is known as "rice grain"<!-- unknown if is made manually or automated by a machine maybe depends of the factory-->, is not efficient because there are areas of the IHS surface not covered with paste and this decreases the overall cooling performance
Along the PS3 production timelife there has been several thermal paste types used: white, blue <!-- and grey ? -->
Probably the thermal paste type used depends of the factory where the PS3 was manufactured and its production date
<!-- white is supposed to be ceramic based, blue and grey silicon based -->
