* Absolutely, we plan to update to the current stable MediaWiki. We're trying to find time to do some heavy backend work to put all the wikis under one MediaWiki (so we'd have one wiki to update rather than eight) and also combine user tables so that you only need one account. I updated them all to the same 1.35 version to prep for that. I never used DefaultSettings.php, only LocalSettings.php. * Derf now merged the "Checkuser" into "Bureaucrats" after I suggested him to do so because the scenario you described was far from reality. First I want to see who is really taking care about SPAM and you will hate me now for this when I say that for the last 5 years or so, none of the "now so called" "Moderators" or other "Administrators" and "Bureaucrats" did as much as I did. I took also your input in our DM and as I understood you correctly, you have no time and/or not interested in combating SPAM, so not sure why I should follow your suggestion, sorry. | * Derf now merged the "Checkuser" into "Bureaucrats" after I suggested him to do so because the scenario you described was far from reality.
