In another case the combo was caused by Q6012 (COK-001), which was shorted on pins 1,2,4,5,6, leaving the impedance of the 1.5V_RSX_VDDIO voltage in relation to GND with only 2.7 ohms. There were also shorted capacitors on the 1.5V_RSX_VDDIO line. After replacing the components the impedance rose to 43.6 ohms and the CECHB turned on again. Repair and identification of components with the help of a thermal camera, as the defective components did not heat up too much. | In another case the combo was caused by Q6012 (COK-001), which was shorted on pins 1,2,4,5,6, leaving the impedance of the 1.5V_RSX_VDDIO voltage in relation to GND with only 2.7 ohms. After applying slight pressure to the CELL, I used some thermal pads to create the pressure. 5 small, 1 mm pads, and two larger 2mm pads, the same size and depth as the ones used on the southbridge chip) The console now boots and runs without any issues. | |||
