==Description==
This page is intended to document the actions taken by Sony when they perform official repairs to PS3 consoles.

==General==
* OEM stickers are replaced; for regions that have dates/[[datecode]]s on them, they are updated accordingly.
** For slim (and potentially super slim) models, an official "PlayStation refurbished" sticker is also applied.
* The [[CELL BE]] run time counter is reset to zero.

* [[CECHAxx|CECHA]]/[[CECHBxx|CECHB]]/[[CECHExx|CECHE]]: [[ZSSR539IA]] replaced with [[APS-226]] (if it doesn't have one already)
* [[BD-400]] replaced with [[BD-410]]
* Felt added to Blu-ray drive entry on top-most part of shell
* Grey felt strip added under Blu-ray drive, replacing smaller grey fabric
* [[CELL BE]] brace added
* [[RSX]] replaced with a newer one
** If the RSX is 65nm or 40nm, a sticker is added under the USB ports (40 for 40nm, 65 for 65nm) to indicate. Also the [[Syscon Hardware|Syscon chip]] is replaced (with different programming) so that the PS3 can accept the smaller RSX
