The connector is soldered in a "children board" identifyed as "connector board", is connected with the "main board" with a 12 traces ribbon cable (and 2 pressure connectors). Only 4 lines of the ribbon cable are used for data signals (each line is protected with a resistor and a diode in the children board) + 1 line that seems to be common and is much more wide (probably volts or ground).
