The particle field behaves like a fluid enclosed in a sealed container where the amount of fluid is constant, when the icons moves in a direction in XMB its displacement creates a drepressure in the fluid where the icon was located originally so the fluid moves to the opposite direction to fill that depressure, this animation is pretty basic and only affects an small part of the fluid though, it follows a basic rule of the real world but in real world the turbulences are more complex | ||
