PAK Files

PAK files are mostly used by utility discs, they usually contain KELF files and their assets.


The most common examples of discs that use them are:

  • DVDPlayer update disc
  • HDD utility disc
  • PSX firmware update disc


An application to unpack these files already exists, callled PAKerUtility, created by sp193.
