Overview
An IC found in all PSX consoles, and only there. Seems to be a variant of SPEED with added functionality. It serves as a bridge between IOP and DVRP to a single shared IDE interface to access the Hard Drive. Additionally, it serves as a MAC for the PSX's Ethernet interface, as well as an interface to the onboard flash (xfrom:/) of the PSX. It might also serve as an interface to the video-IO/encoding/decoding hardware (via PCI?).
It comes in a 376 pin BGA case.
PSX consoles additionally contain a standard SPEED IC (which is however seemingly only used as an IDE-interface to the optical disc drive).
Further research is needed.
