An IC found in all [[PSX]] consoles, and only there. Seems to be a variant of [[SPEED]] with added functionality. It serves as a bridge between [[IOP]] and [[DVRP]] to a single shared IDE interface to access the [[Hard Drive]]. Additionally, it serves as a MAC for the PSX's Ethernet interface, as well as an interface to the onboard flash (xfrom:/) of the PSX. It might also serve as an interface to the video-IO/encoding/decoding hardware (via PCI?).
An IC only found in all [[PSX]] consoles. Seems to sit on the same bus as [[SPEED]]. Only one revision is known.

It comes in a 376 pin BGA case.
Probably provides an interface to the hard drive and maybe handles decryption/encryption and verification for genuince SCE drives.

PSX consoles additionally contain a standard CXD9731GP SPEED IC (which is however seemingly only used as an IDE-interface to the optical disc drive).

Further research is needed.
