There are two main types of power supplies:
Internal Power Supply, used in FAT consoles, and External Power Supply, used in slim consoles.

Fat Models
Fat models have an internal font and there may be some differences depending on the model\region of the device.
- SCPH 100x, 3xxx, 50xx and 5903 models have an internal 7-pin power supply; Models from 55xx onwards (with the exception of the 5903) have an internal 5-pin power supply.
- American Playstation's have AC connector different from European and Japanese models.
