World languages
Licensed
NTSC
NTSC-U
In the NTSC-U (North America) region, games are in English.
NTSC-J
In the NTSC-J (Japan) region, games are in Japanese, hence the J.
PAL
In the PAL (Europe) region, games are in English, German, or French.
Unlicensed
Unlicensed games on PS1 are translated games for other countries. These languages are Czech, Polish, Russian, and Turkish.
Programming language
