Overview

This list might be incomplete, so feel free to add your own board if you own one that is not in this list.

Note: Model numbers were initially not synchronized across regions until the SCPH-550X series. E.g. the European launch consoles (SCPH-1002 series) mostly use the same board (PU-8) as most of the Japanese SCPH-3000 series consoles, since this was the current board revision at the time the PlayStation launched in Europe (very few exceptions where Sony used an older board in some very early units may or may not exist).
