Overview[edit | edit source]

The dedicated RF-amp was introduced with the PU-18 motherboard, after the Servo controller has been integrated into the DSP. Before PU-18, a Servo-controller/RF-amp combo IC was used (CXA1782BR).

Revisions[edit | edit source]

  • CXA1782BR (PU-7, PU-8, PU-16)
    • Combo IC consisting of servo controller and RF-amp
  • CXA1791N (PU-18)
  • CXA2550N (PU-20)
  • CXA2575N (PU-22 and up)

The marking on the latter three ICs omits the "CX" prefix; hence the text on them says A1791N, A2550N, A2575N.
