Issues with PDEL Touchscreen not working properly except when USB cable is plugged in

User 1: I would assume one of the capacitors is faulty
User 1: And not delivering enough power to the touch panel
User 1: When you plug the cable you increase the power slightly as it gets 5v from another rail, maybe a more stable one

User 2: Make sure you're using a power supply which is powerful enough. If you use a weak psu the kit might work but have issues
User 2: PDEL1000 is designed to run at 5V 2A
